Allyson Felix
Allyson Michael Felix an Los Angeles native born on the 18th of November, 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordinand at Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix discovered early that she had a talent to run when she was a student at Los Angeles Baptist High School. After a few weeks of the first trial she took her skills, she placed second for 200m at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix graduated from high school and signed an agreement to Adidas. In 2004 she was enrolled at an institution called the University of Southern California, where her major was elementary education. The first Olympic medal came at the 2004 Summer Olympics held in Athens Greece. Felix set an international junior record running 200m in 22.18 secs. She became the youngest world champion of 200 meters in the Helsinki World Championships. She was able to defend her title in 2007, beating her former Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix took part in her first Olympics at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo consistently placing within the top three in all her events.
