Alexandra Shipp has been a popular actress for many years. Born in Phoenix Arizona, USA on July 16th 1991. She played Victoria Justice as a guest star on Victorious in 2012. In 2009, Shipp was first introduced to acting by playing a part as a minor character in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. In the third season of Nickelodeon's detective teen show House of Anubis, Shipp played the character of KT rush. Shipp gained attention during 2014, when she played Dani Raymond as the sequel to Drumline: A New Beat on VH1 as well as Aaliyah as the lead character in Lifetime's Aaliyah: A Princess of R&B. Shipp performed in the final performance. She also sang in Straight Outta Compton, a biographical drama that tells the story of the hip-hop group N.W.A. The actress co-starred with Halle Berry in Bryan Singer's movie about superheroes in 2016 X-Men: Apocalypse. Ororo was a mutant that was able to control the weather. She was previously was portrayed as Storm in the film by Halle Berry. She also was as a character in Love Simon with Nick Robinson and Jorge Lendeborg Jr., as well as Dude featuring Kathryn Prescott & Lucy Hale. Both were high school comedies. James is her older brother. She portrayed Danielle Dani Ray's role on Drumline The New Beat New Beat, the TV movie from 2014. Alexandra Ruth Shipp born 16 July 1991 is an American actress and singer/songwriter who was famous for her role as real-life performers Aaliyah as well as Kimberly Woodruff respectively in Straight Outta Compton and Aaliyah the Princess of R&B on Lifetime.
